The Opportunity
As a Los Angeles - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that provides independent and objective assessments, helping clients enhance trust and confidence in their financial reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe and contribute to the delivery of services that uphold transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
As an Intern, you will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research while observing professional work environments. You will have the chance to learn and apply professional and technical standards, actively listen, ask questions, and clearly express ideas. Responsibilities
- Supporting audit teams in conducting financial assessments and evaluations
- Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting processes
- Assisting in the deployment of cloud engineering solutions to optimize audit processes
- Engaging in compliance auditing to validate adherence to regulatory guidelines
- Collaborating with teams to apply artificial intelligence platforms for improved audit accuracy
- Conducting research to support audit findings and recommendations
- Applying active listening skills to understand client needs and contribute to audit discussions
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
