Shark Tank company growing quickly! We need you!
Guard Llama is a young, energetic start-up based in Chicago making an enormous impact on the personal security market. We provide what we like to refer to as a “mobile panic button.” “But what exactly is a mobile panic button?” you ask. Wow, what an insightful question. You must be incredibly smart and good looking.
A mobile panic button is a small, Bluetooth remote with a single button. It is designed to look like a car key fob and it pairs with our app on your smartphone. In an emergency, you press the button on the remote, and it triggers our app to send an immediate, emergency distress signal to our 24/7 dispatch center. Our dispatch then send the police to your exact GPS location.
Job DescriptionWe have found our largest avenue to growth and success through cooperation with the real estate industry. Last year, we were invested in by the National Association of Realtors. Through that relationship, we have been able to grow a considerable subscriber base of amazing people!
Realtors experience considerably higher than average instances of violent assault, stalking, and abduction. Many of them already want Guard Llama, they just don’t know it exists yet. That’s where you come in, you savvy head-turner.
QualificationsWe are looking for someone who is available on a part time basis (about 10 hours a week) -- and that has superb public speaking skills (or is a fast learner). You might be asking yourself, "Why do I need to be a good public speaker?" Again, great question. You are as wise as you are beautiful. Giving in person presentations is the cornerstone of this job, if you can work a crowd and shake your jitters you'll do very well.
Does a sales background help? Certainly, but it’s not a requirement. Mainly, you should be an approachable, friendly person who is comfortable meeting new people, networking, and talking to large groups. If you have experience acting or performing, this is definitely a plus. We will be doing the leg-work of setting up presentations for you so you can concentrate on presentations -- but you will also need to book some meetings on your own so good phone experience helps.
If you make it through the training process, you will become a sleek, cruise-guided sales missile on target to deliver the Gospel of Guard Llama. Tuesday will become your favorite day of the week. You will be able to recite realtor safety statistics and provide product FAQs standing on your head while you’re asleep during a tornado drill.
If all of this sounds like you, we would like to talk to you because you sound awesome. We’re awesome, too. Let’s be awesome together.
