Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Network Operations Change Engineer to oversee and execute operational network changes across a defined region in the U.S. This individual will be responsible for aligning local execution with corporate strategy, monitoring in-field operations, and ensuring timely and efficient rollout of changes. The ideal candidate is both analytically skilled and operationally grounded—capable of supporting execution while also evaluating performance, cost impact, and long-term effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Serve as the regional point-of-contact for all planned network changes and optimization efforts.
  • Coordinate on-site execution, ensuring team alignment with rollout plans, deadlines, and key performance objectives.
  • Actively monitor progress during change events, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and ensure timely resolution of operational blockers.
  • Communicate and escalate risks to senior stakeholders as needed to maintain execution momentum.
  • Conduct cost and performance analysis before and after implementation to measure the effectiveness and ROI of changes.
  • Deliver post-mortem reports on network changes with clear insights, learnings, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, product, engineering, vendors) to ensure seamless implementation of new network designs and city cluster models.
  • Drive continuous improvement by tracking metrics, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Support documentation and reporting, including weekly execution updates and regional change impact summaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or process implementation roles.
  • Strong analytical and cost modeling skills; able to work with data to support decision-making.
  • Proven experience managing field-level implementation of complex operational changes.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and adjusting to dynamic conditions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with city-level logistics, last-mile networks, or urban fulfillment is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is an asset.
  • Mandarin and/or Spanish language proficiency is a strong asset, especially for field coordination and communication with local teams.
  • Hands-on, execution-focused mindset.
  • High attention to detail and ownership mentality.
  • Ability to balance field operations with strategic reporting and analysis.
  • Comfortable traveling within the region and being on-site as needed.
Benefits
  • 401K, Dental, Vision, Medical insurance, Paid Holiday, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, Management training program, H1B Sponsorship.
  • Salary between $80,000 to $110,000 USD

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
