THE JOB

Within the Data Analytics Products & Services team, you'll take ownership as a Business Intelligence Engineer of implementing high-impact data infrastructure that empowers decision-making and innovation. Close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be key to developing, maintaining, and optimizing proprietary Business Intelligence solutions. This role encompasses the full lifecycle of key data pipelines and applications within our Databricks and DOMO environments, where data is ingested, transformed, and consumed daily. Self-direction, comfort navigating ambiguity, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment, combined with a passion for innovation, are crucial for success.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Partner with Product and Data teams to understand the business requirements and implement solutions to support product plans

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.

  • Develop and support the analytical technologies that give stakeholders timely, flexible, and structured access to their data.

  • Conduct ad hoc data analysis and data quality investigations.

  • Create content such as FAQ documents for business users to better understand Business Intelligence applications and the underlying data

  • Stay up-to-date with BI best practices and emerging technologies, contributing to

  • continuous improvement in our data analytics capabilities.

  • Work directly with outside vendors like DOMO and Databricks to improve existing products or implement new features

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics) or equivalent work experience.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering roles, preferably within media, entertainment, or technology industries.

  • Hands-on experience with BI tools, with a strong preference for experience with DOMO

  • Strong ability to gather client requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Familiarity with digital media, advertising technologies, data analytics tools, and engineering workflows.

  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA and Asana

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align diverse teams and simplify technical concepts for stakeholders.

  • Proven ability writing SQL and Python/R

  • Familiarity with Spark or Spark frameworks

$100,000 - $110,000
