THE JOB
Live Nation is seeking a qualified individual for a Ticketing Director position for the Concerts division. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, professional interaction with tour partners of all levels, an ability to work efficiently, accurately, and effectively under pressure, and the ability to complete and prioritize tasks in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a venue box office or similar ticketing role, working with ticketing software. The ability to communicate with respect and diplomacy across all levels of business is essential to this position. Maintaining knowledge of current ticketing trends in the entertainment industry is an essential element to this position.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- This temporary position works full time from September 2, 2025, through Friday, May 31, 2026, and requires extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned.
- Serve as the primary ticketing point of contact and own the ticketing process for Live Nation’s Netflix is a Joke comedy festival.
- Oversee and collaborate across festival-related teams internally and externally.
- Creatively design and execute festival ticketing strategy and passes or packages as needed.
- Design and support on all operational aspects related to the festival ticketing.
- Implement and execute ticketing-focused revenue-maximization opportunities in partnership with talent buyers.
- Communicate and oversee the setup of all required tour offers, pricing programs, inventory allocations, and other ticketing information for show builds.
- Monitor and maintain event inventory and seat holds, releases, flex pricing, rescaling, and dynamic pricing for assigned tours.
- Provide ongoing reporting to touring team, Live Nation executives, and tour personnel from the first day of presales through the final event date.
- QA events across tours to ensure accurate and consistent event information and set-up.
- Work regularly with promoters, Ticketmaster staff, Live Nation Ticketing staff, vendors, customers, and affiliated parties.
- Provide support and guidance to the client and festival personnel when needed.
- Develop strong working relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders to ensure ticketing needs are met.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to other members of the ticketing team.
- Oversee festival-wide ticket requests.
- Collect and analyze inventory data across multiple ticketing platforms.
- Adhere to Live Nation ticketing initiatives, programs, policies, and procedures.
- Lead on-site support at local events.
- Daily on-site support during the festival, including overseeing event box office staffing and TM equipment needs.
- Additional tasks as assigned
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
- 5+ years as a Box Office Manager or Ticketing representative
- Experience and proficiency with multiple Ticketing systems, including but not limited to Ticketmaster, AXS, Eventbrite, Ticketweb, Sand eatGeek
- Self-starter with a track record of taking ownership and successfully driving projects to completion
- Flexible and reliable team player that can adapt to changes in a rapidly evolving work environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a track record of building strong working relationships across all levels of an organization
- Effective time-management skills and adept at juggling multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work under pressure to meet strict and fluid deadlines
- Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem solve, delegate, follow up, and communicate.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$112,000.00 USD - $140,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
