Job Description:

Epiq is seeking experienced Litigation Paralegals to support a leading global law firm in New York City. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced law firm environment and are comfortable working directly with attorneys and legal teams on complex matters.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience supporting litigation matters from inception through resolution. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
  • Draft, revise, proofread, and organize legal documents and case materials.
  • Maintain case files, document repositories, and litigation databases.
  • Assist with document review, discovery, and production processes.
  • Coordinate filings and manage deadlines.
  • Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
  • Prepare exhibits, hearing binders, and trial materials.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to support case strategy and execution.
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm environment.
  • Experience supporting complex litigation matters.
  • Strong understanding of discovery, document management, and litigation workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally with attorneys and clients.
  • High level of organization, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment with competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Large law firm experience.
  • Experience with litigation support technology and eDiscovery platforms.
  • Ability to work in-office as required by the client.
  • Proven track record supporting high-profile legal matters.

The Compensation range for this role is $30.00 to 40.00 hourly. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.

Your specific salary will be determined based on several factors:

  • Location-based market rate for the role

  • Your abilities in relation to the job specification

  • Performance during screening and interview

  • Pay parity with the wider team in the considered location
