POSITION SUMMARY

As a Linux Sales Engineer, you will showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be responsible for proactively addressing clients’ needs and facilitating the sale process from beginning to end.  You will contribute to increasing sales and maintaining our company-client relationships to a high standard. You will work with the sales team and other departments that are critical to the team’s success. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage key accounts and act as the point of contact for clients.
  • Organize regular client meetings to discuss their requirements.
  • Resolve problems and handle complaints promptly.
  • Identify new potential customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with new features and product launches.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance analytics.
  • Recommend innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience.

NEEDED TO SUCCEED

Successful candidates will be:

  • Results-driven with a strong analytical mindset. 
  • The ability to prioritize competing priorities and projects. 
  • Great problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Interest in open source software. 
  • A friendly, collaborative, humble, honest, and always striving to be better attitude.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in Linux Sales or a similar role. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a remote team or collaborative environment. 
  • A background in software, tech, or a related industry is preferred.

Salary: $150,000-$175,000
