You’ll join our Self Serve Growth Marketing team reporting to the Manger of Growth Marketing. You will be responsible for creating delightful customer experiences and driving business growth by improving activation, conversion, feature adoption, and retention within the Self-serve business. You will play a critical role in driving customer engagement, retention, and loyalty by developing, executing, and optimizing multi-channel marketing campaigns. You will own the customer journey from initial onboarding through retention and re-engagement, using data-driven strategies to deliver personalized experiences that drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for creating multichannel campaigns utilizing our CRM, Customer.IO, and in-app messaging, AppCues. 

As a data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you thrive working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to optimize email and in-app touch points to drive incremental impact and learnings. 

As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will be an individual contributor. You will play a pivotal role in increasing Gross Media Spend within the self-serve business by driving higher customer engagement and retention through personalized, data-driven marketing strategies. Your ability to create targeted, multi-channel campaigns will directly influence user activation and re-engagement, encouraging customers to maximize their spend on our platform. By optimizing the customer journey and leveraging A/B testing, you'll help accelerate product adoption and increase overall customer lifetime value, contributing significantly to revenue growth.

The impact you’ll make: 

  • Customer Segmentation: Use behavioral, transactional, and demographic data to segment customers and deliver personalized experiences that resonate with each audience segment using Customer.IO and AppCues.
  • Craft personalized experiences from a user's initial signup through active use, upsell, retention and winback efforts through prioritization of high-impact experimentation and optimization strategies.
  • Onboarding & Activation: Create and enhance onboarding flows and nurture programs to accelerate time-to-value and increase product adoption for new customers.
  • Retention & Re-engagement Campaigns: Build and optimize campaigns aimed at increasing customer retention, reducing churn, and driving re-engagement for inactive or at-risk users.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze performance and growth metrics across the funnel. Initiate new lifecycle marketing motions using data and insights to develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Testing & Optimization: Lead A/B and multivariate testing across channels to optimize campaign performance, messaging, and design.

Skills you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, customer marketing, growth marketing, or similar field
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytics-based decision-making, highly capable of interpreting data and advancing initiatives to optimize performance.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as product, analytics, and design to drive impactful campaigns.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging tailored to different customer segments.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Testing Mindset: Experience with A/B testing, experiment design, and campaign optimization.

Additional Information:

Minimum salary of $85,271 to maximum salary of $125,941 + equity + benefits.

The range provided is NextRoll’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
