Welocalize is seeking a dynamic and strategic Solution/Product Owner to join our Life Sciences Service Line Leadership Team. This high-visibility role acts as the voice of the customer, the market, and the business, guiding our product vision and technical strategy to support industry-leading language services for global life sciences organizations. You will drive innovation by connecting client needs, market trends, and competitive insights to strategic product and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the Solution Advocate: Represent and champion the needs of life sciences clients and internal stakeholders across all technology initiatives.
  • Voice of the Market: Conduct market intelligence to understand customer challenges, regulatory trends, and competitor strategies. Translate these into actionable product and service opportunities.
  • Tech Strategy Leadership: Develop and own a 1-2 year technology strategy roadmap aligned with Life Sciences business goals, ensuring we remain ahead of market needs and competitors.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers: Work closely with technical product managers to define and refine product roadmaps. Shape high-level strategies into Board- and Leadership-ready narratives, and help decompose them into tactical delivery plans.
  • Customer & Commercial Engagement: Engage directly with top clients and prospects to understand evolving needs, identify whitespace, and support strategic account development and pre-sales efforts.
  • Competitive Differentiation: Identify and validate how Welocalize’s platform, data, and services differentiate us. Define positioning and packaging strategies that align with our life sciences value proposition.
  • Cross-functional Partner: Work across Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance to ensure successful product implementation, adoption, and impact.
  • Adoption & Measurement: Define KPIs for success and adoption. Monitor usage, performance, and business impact of tech-enabled services.

Job Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in product management, solution ownership, or strategic consulting roles, required within Life Sciences: Pharma, Biotech, or CRO.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strategic product roadmaps and bridging business vision with technical execution.
  • Deep understanding of life sciences technology ecosystem of drug development including knowledge of CTMS, EDC, eTMF, and/or eCOA systems
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and market trends in life sciences content services and localization tech.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed teams, and presenting to executive and customer stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with localization technologies (e.g., TMS, CAT, LQA, MT, integrations) is a plus.
  • A structured thinker and storyteller who can translate complex problems into clear, compelling solutions.

Main Skills & Competences

  • Experience collaborating with Engineering, UX, and Technical Product Managers.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong execution orientation.
