Title: Libraries and Archives Account Specialist

Location: US; fully remote with occasional travel required

Reports to: Head of Growth

The Role

As our Libraries and Archives Account Specialist, you’ll be the face of Conserv for Libraries and Archives in North America - helping institutions protect and care for the collections that matter most. You’ll lead our sales efforts in the library and archive sector, balancing inbound inquiries and proactive outreach in North America. This role is about building long-term relationships, guiding prospective customers through complex decisions, and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. It's a great fit if you can translate deep subject-matter knowledge into clear, confident recommendations, both for prospective customers and shaping our team’s growth strategy and product development. Areas of Responsibility
  • Inbound & Outbound Sales – Convert inbound leads and proactively generate new business.
  • Client Education – Help prospective clients understand how our solutions compare to competitors and help them develop the business case for investing in a Conserv system.
  • Library and Archives Expertise - Provide “voice of the customer” insights to team to inform growth strategies and provide context and direction for product development
  • Travel & On-Site Visits – Attend conferences and events as Conserv representative 
  • Competitive Analysis – Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.
What You’ll Need (Required)
  • Deep understanding of the libraries and archives sector (ideally 4+ years of direct experience with collections)
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong competency with technology and task management
  • Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced and fully remote environment
  • Dedication to preserving cultural heritage collections
  • Embodiment of our core values: Curious, Proactive, Brave, Focused, Optimistic

Strongly Preferred: 

  • Experience with budgeting processes, procurement procedures, and competitive bid processes
  • Proven ability to influence superiors and advocate for change within complex organizations
Compensation
  • Base: $55,000; On Target Earnings $75,000 plus Stock Options
  • Health Insurance, 401k, Parental Leave, Unlimited PTO
