Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Counsel – Product, Privacy and Marketing.

What You'll Do:

• Advise on legal clearance of advertising and marketing materials, product claims, promotional offers, contests and sweepstakes, social media and product designs
• Conduct legal and privacy reviews of new products, features and initiatives and assist with oversight of data governance and privacy process
• Advise on legal issues relating to the advertising ecosystem and advertising technology platform
• Advise on developing internal legal policies and processes for marketing, advertising, and privacy

What You'll Need:

• Juris Doctor degree
• California Bar admission;
• Outstanding academic credentials;
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience at a major law firm and/or in-house handling privacy, advertising tech, marketing and consumer law;
• Extensive knowledge of privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA and VPPA, and experience overseeing data governance and privacy reviews;
• Extensive knowledge of marketing and promotions law;
• Experience with advertising technology transactions; and
• Experience with internet, social media and e-commerce issues
