TikTok's US Safety team is dedicated to making TikTok safe for our users, viewers and content creators globally. Risk prevention specialists are deeply in tune with how the platform works, from its FYF algorithm, to emerging hashtag, video and audio trends, to effects, and finally external profiles off the platform. They use that expertise in order to adversarially test our systems and potential vulnerabilities. Specialists are naturally inquisitive, take initiative to formulate hypothesis and perform deep analysis into potential risk areas, and are able to navigate ambiguity and non-linear work flows. Key Responsibilities: - Ability to communicate frequently and effectively with key stakeholders - Take initiative in deep diving into the various risk profiles presented on the platform - Organize and articulate ambiguous and complex ideas or issues into clear documentation and analysis - Identify opportunities for policy and training to mitigate risks

Qualifications

- Project and program management experience with a keen eye for detail - Ability to adapt to business needs and work in a fast-paced environment - 3+ years of policy experience in the social media industry - Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills - Bachelor's degree with equivalent 3-5 years of practical experience - Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures
