Summary:  

Quibi has an immediate opening for a Paralegal within the Content Legal tram. The Content Legal team is responsible for handling Production Legal and Legal Affairs in connection with content (scripted, alternative, and daily news, sports, entertainment and lifestyle programming) licensed from third-party producers.  

What You'll Do:   

  • Oversee and manage Content Legal deliverables (e.g., indemnity agreements, certificates of insurance, etc.) in connection with Quibi licensors and vendors.   
  • Establish processes for review of agreements for rights and clearances issues and maintain a tracking system for contractual content restrictions.   
  • Provide support to Content Legal attorneys by proofreading, summarizing, and redlining various time-sensitive production-related agreements.  
  • Understand the Content Legal team’s obligations and proactively assist and anticipate needs.   

What You’ll Need   

  • Bachelor’s degree and either a paralegal certificate or J.D. degree preferred but not required  
  • 2-4 years of paralegal-level experience or equivalent  
  • Entertainment law firm, TV network or studio experience preferred  
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with strong organizational and time-management skills in order to manage multiple projects at once  
  • Excellent oral, written and communications skills
