Merchandising Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic Merchandising Marketing Coordinator to coordinate promotions that align our customers’ values with those of our brand partners, create compelling campaigns to position those opportunities in partnership with our Category Managers, and ensure the successful execution of campaigns. Thrive Market’s unique blend of content and commerce provides an opportunity to design seasonal and trend-focused programs such as product sampling (e.g., gift with purchase), on-site/email advertisements, video, and social media. The role requires the data-driven and creative mind of a marketer, the tactical depth of a merchant, and strong project management skills to drive the execution of campaigns cross-departmentally.
Responsibilities
- Create robust marketing briefs to be easily understood and followed by key stakeholders
- Order and monitor product samples for 50+ campaigns each month
- Partner closely with cross functional teams including Procurement, CRM, Creative, Content, Finance and Data Analytics to ensure the successful execution of each promotion
- Monitor campaign performance and maintain key reports, using findings to test new ideas and drive incremental revenue
- Draft marketing materials and reports for brand partners
- Recommend optimizations grounded in data and competitive insights to continually improve our business
- Support director on key partnerships and projects, as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 1-3 years in marketing, project or account management (e-commerce a plus)
- Excellent communication skills: you can present, write clear/concise emails, and understand the nuances of how best to communicate with different teams and people
- Flexible personality and can-do attitude: you are a self-starter who can take direction but work autonomously at a fast-paced startup
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Google Drive: you are comfortable manipulating and analyzing data to effectively tell a story
