WHO WE NEED

We need you, a Public Sector Contracts Manager, to help promote company growth and protect our interests. You will help us grow by overseeing and managing the pre-and post purchase process, including competitive bids. You are knowledgeable about government / public sector competitive bidding and purchase documents, especially at the state and local levels, and ideally you have experience working in K-12 education technology space.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Overseeing and coordinating team review of all customer contractual and purchase documents, supporting the competitive bid process in reviewing RFPs and ensuring ability for contract compliance
• Experience with the above in direct sales and indirect sales through resellers/distributors or other purchasing consortiums
• Experience and judgment identifying legal, compliance and third party risk management concepts across, competitive bids and RFPs, insurance, government pricing, FOIA and state equivalents, commercial non-discrimination, conflict of interest, etc., and then appropriately addressing identified concepts (including escalating to the appropriate legal channels for review)
• Maintaining, managing, and tracking contracts and other related records to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations
• Acting as a liaison with sales and other cross-functional teams

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of contracts management or other comparable experience with government contracts in the technology space
• State and local government bidding and contract experience is a huge plus, but if not, comparable federal government experience
• Experience pre- and post-government contract award
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the desire and ability to partner across company departments
• Comfort and skill working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment
