You'll play a key role within the Legal Operations team to manage projects, technology implementations and ongoing system support of our technology stack to ensure the legal team can move fast, stay aligned with business objectives and effectively manage legal risk.

What you’ll do:

  • Project management of legal team transformation projects.
  • Managing technology implementations and providing user support and system administration for legal technology systems (Matter and Knowledge Management, IP Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, Ebilling, Contract Management)
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge management processes and systems
  • Driving adoption of legal team technology including AI
  • Contributing to the legal team OKR planning cycle, tracking progress and coordinating project teams
  • Project management of complex legal matters
  • Supporting the management of legal team finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and tracking outside counsel spend. 

Success looks like:

  • Project Management: Successful delivery of department OKRs, legal transformation projects and complex legal matters.
  • Technology Implementation & Support: High user satisfaction with legal technology systems.
  • Knowledge Management: Effective development and utilization of legal knowledge resources.
  • Technology Adoption (including AI): Increased adoption and effective use of legal technologies, including AI tools.
  • Financial Management: Sound coordination of legal team finances.

Critical competencies:

  • Technical expertise (and preferably accreditation) in either SAFE, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, Design Thinking  or Product Management
  • Excellent, people focused communication skills
  • Growth, benefit and innovation mindset
  • Ability and desire to work in highly dynamic  environment and to operate within ambiguity
  • Ability to work and to build strong relationships as part of a globally dispersed team 
  • Fast adopter of new technologies and strength in supporting team members to utilise new technologies and tools

Experience:

  • Previous experience in either legal operations, business consulting, technology transformation (or similar)
  • Previous experience within in-house legal functions or law firm practice management preferred but not required
  • 5+ years project management experience. Ideally this will include experience  leading multiple medium sized initiatives concurrently
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Asana and Slack
