We are seeking an exceptional Legal Operations Associate to support and work collaboratively with our Legal Team. This role will report to the Legal Operations Manager. This organized, detail-oriented self-starter will be responsible for helping to efficiently and effectively run and improve our legal machine, including the build out and execution of workflows, oversight and management of our contract lifecycle, management of document & knowledge repositories, trackers and other internal tools and systems, and day-to-day support on legal tasks and projects.
A paralegal certification or experience is preferred but not required.
Where you will work:Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ.
What you will do:- Help manage the contract lifecycle end-to-end, including document generation support, stakeholder outreach and internal approval collection, signature process, and metric tracking
- Support operational systems and processes, including updating templates, executing and optimizing workflows, and assisting with reporting and documentation
- Maintain, organize, and improve our knowledge repository, legal trackers, workflow documentation, and other internal resources
- Assist with team projects and research, and provide paralegal and administrative support for Legal Team members
- Bachelor’s Degree (paralegal certification is a plus)
- 1-3+ years of experience as a paralegal, contracts manager, member of a legal operations team and/or with a corporate legal department, preferably in a rapidly growing and/or evolving environment
- Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and experience managing contract workflows
- Ability to review and understand legal agreements and documents and translate them for business stakeholders
- Excellent project management, process management and organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize and balance multiple tasks and deadlines
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong communication abilities (written and verbal)
- A natural affinity for technology and a proven ability to learn new software platforms (e.g., Microsoft Word, Salesforce, Adobe, Ironclad, Gemini, etc.) quickly
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine interest in finding ways to make repetitive tasks more efficient
- A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback

Compensation Transparency:The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
