About the Role
As our Legal Operations Analyst, you will assist the legal team as it partners with the executives and teams across the board to guide commercial, regulatory, marketing and policy decisions. You will focus on legal research and compliance, including US and international regulatory developments that affect our operations and that of our customers. You will also contribute to our legal operations efficiency by using, implementing and improving tools/processes for research, contract management and legal education.
This blend of paralegal and legal ops responsibilities requires an ambitious and innovative individual who is skilled and efficient in research and reporting, comprehensive when generating work product and motivated to understand the law. Reporting to our General Counsel, you will work closely with our in-house lawyers to ensure they maintain strong visibility into changes in the law and can efficiently proliferate guidance throughout the organization. In particular, you will assist with cross-functional alignment with departments such as Sales, Marketing and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Track and forecast changes in the law in applicable jurisdictions
- Report on pertinent regulations and their effect on our business and products and those of our customers
- Assist in-house counsel in contracting processes
- Research and schedule legal education for in-house counsel
- Enthusiastically collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Sales, Marketing and Engineering
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices for efficiency as it relates to your role, including identifying and using new technology and tools
- Adhere to policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets
- Report actual or suspected security and/or policy violations/breaches to an appropriate authority
Requirements
- You have a Bachelor's degree
- You have excellent reading comprehension, analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills
- You have a strong desire to understand laws and regulations
- You have demonstrated success in a competitive environment

The current expected base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 - $70,000. Actual compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work; stock options may be offered in addition to the range provided here.
