We are seeking a talented Learning Experience Senior Designer to lead our global technology-based enablement initiatives. This role focuses on crafting engaging learning experiences for employee onboarding, product training, sales skills and ongoing enablement in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with subject matter experts and to create scalable learning solutions tailored to sales audiences.  

Responsibilities include designing innovative learning experiences aligned with Veeam’s global priorities, assessing training needs, and recommending appropriate learning solutions for various delivery modalities such as digital, blended, microlearning, and social learning environments. Additionally, you will champion the integration of technology, data, and learner feedback to enhance learning effectiveness and engagement. 

You will also oversee the development of technology and AI-based resources to boost sales team effectiveness, using rapid authoring, AI tools, and micro-learning platforms to deliver data-driven content focused on product enablement, sales messaging, and best practices. This role requires close collaboration with learning designers, program managers, and cross-functional teams, as well as engagement with the broader Sales Acceleration team and sales leadership.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Instructional Design: Apply instructional design methodologies and principles of user experience, accessibility, and inclusive design to create learning experiences that drive engagement, retention and performance.  
  • Content Creation: Partner with Sales Acceleration stakeholders to design a diverse range of enablement assets including: microlearning, job aids, playbooks, instructor led training, role plays, simulations, videos and AI powered resources. 
  • Tool Utilization: Use authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Suite, Synthesia or similar; LMS platforms like Workday, Cornerstone, or Sana. 
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross functional teams to analyze learning gaps, define business needs and deliver enablement resources. Build strong relationships to ensure alignment and success.  
  • Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate thought leadership to the wider sales acceleration organization; stay updated on AI and automation trends, recommending enhancements to existing AI tools and championing best practices to drive innovation across enablement projects. 
  • Reporting & Analytics: Collaborate with Revenue Intelligence and Program Manager(s) to deliver comprehensive analytics on the impact of AI-enabled learning assets and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Data Usage: Use sales, customer, and market data to develop personalized, AI-driven learning resources tailored to the needs of various sales teams and regions.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in instructional design within sales enablement, with a focus on data-driven, AI, and machine learning for content creation or training. 
  • Advanced proficiency with modern design/authoring tools (e.g., ChatGPT, AI-based authoring, Synthesia, Articulate, Canva, etc.). 
  • Experience with LMS integration (e.g., MuleSoft) and analytics platforms (e.g., Cornerstone). 
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies, performance metrics, and creating content for real-world sales challenges. 
  • Experience working with global, culturally diverse teams. 
  • Skilled in curriculum development and coordination for sales environments.

Knowledge

  • In depth knowledge of IT technologies, cloud computing and sales enablement best practices 
  • Ability to adopt the most effective engagement style when working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, SMEs, employees and leadership at all levels. 
  • Ability to anticipate and mitigate challenges related to cultural differences, language barriers, and market-specific needs. 
  • Ability to analyze learning data, evaluate strategies and recommend improvements to achieve business results 
  • Strong understanding of instructional and UX design principles, adult learning theory and accessibility standards 

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time with international travel for team meetings, company events and workshops. (VISAs may be required). 

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
