SPX Technologies is searching for a Learning & Development Program Manager to lead and enhance our educational programs aimed at developing talent within our community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives that align with the institution's goals and address the evolving needs of our faculty, staff, and students. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify learning needs, creating engaging content, and utilizing innovative delivery methods. You will manage the full lifecycle of development programs, from conception through execution and assessment, ensuring that all programs foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can drive change while ensuring that our learning initiatives contribute to employee satisfaction, retention, and performance improvement. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive learning and development programs tailored to the needs of the organization.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify skill gaps and create targeted training solutions.
  • Utilize various instructional design models and technologies to develop engaging learning materials.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops, both in-person and online.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of participants and the overall effectiveness of development initiatives.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance program offerings.    

  

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in learning and development, training management, or organizational development.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning theories.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage others.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and learning management systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive insights to inform program development and improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
