This role is ideal for a proactive builder who is passionate about creating engaging and scalable learning experiences that drive growth across all levels of the organization. The right candidate will bring strong program design, facilitation, and operations skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work across brands to shape meaningful learning journeys that fuel our people and business strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape learning experiences that empower our people and drive impact across some of the world’s most iconic brands. If you love designing programs that meet learners where they are and grow their potential, we’d love to meet you.

Know where you belong. Match Group is a leading provider of dating services across the globe. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Match, Hinge, PlentyOfFish, The League, and others, each designed to spark meaningful connections for singles worldwide. Creating a sense of belonging doesn’t stop at our platforms - it’s the foundation of every team we hire.

When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best teams, so we work together IRL in our Dallas or LA office 3 days/week.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead design, operations, and facilitation for Match Group’s flagship programs end to end (e.g., manager and leadership development, mentorship, sponsorship, coaching, etc.), including annual planning, programming, logistics, and evaluation
  • Design and facilitate high-impact intact team workshops (e.g., DiSC, team effectiveness, change management) and create scalable toolkits for brand-wide use
  • Lead learning content creation and iteration efforts, including toolkits, facilitation guides, and on-demand resources
  • Oversee operations for key vendor partnerships like on-demand coaching, ensuring alignment with talent development goals
  • Activate learning platforms (e.g., Udemy) through campaigns, communications, programming, and cross-brand engagement strategies
  • Contribute to tech upskilling initiatives, including AI literacy and productivity tools like ChatGPT, by designing or curating content and supporting enablement
  • Apply continuous improvement mindset to learning operations, using learner feedback, data, and best practices to evolve programs
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the strategy and execution of future leadership development programs (e.g., for senior leaders and early career talent)
  • Partner with People & Talent teams across brands:
  • Localize delivery of Match Group Programs
  • Ensure consistency, alignment, and impact of learning initiatives globally

We Could Be a Match If:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related fields.
  • You have demonstrated experience designing and facilitating learning programs for diverse audiences.
  • You have strong instructional design and facilitation skills, with a focus on adult learning and experiential design.
  • You have excellent program management skills – can move initiatives from concept to execution with clear milestones, communications, and outcomes.
  • You have experience with tools such as DiSC, Enneagram, 360 feedback, Hogan, or coaching-based frameworks.
  • You have strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with comfort operating in a matrixed, global environment.
  • You are strategic and learner-focused – able to translate business and talent needs into relevant development offerings.
  • You are comfortable working with vendors and managing vendor relationships.
  • You have the ability to use data and learner insights to shape and evolve programs for impact.

Nice to Haves:

  • Master’s degree in OD, HR, I/O Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working with Workday or other talent/performance systems
  • Experience with Litmos or other Learning Management Systems
  • Background in tech or multi-brand, high-growth organizations
  • Familiarity with AI-based or emerging learning technologies

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
