What You Will Do

As the Creative Copywriter Learner, you will play a crucial role in writing copy and supporting the Creative Team, who is located remotely across numerous states. You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in this role. including social content, email content, & digital content for Chomps.com and a variety of retailers as well as supporting the launch of campaigns and products. You'll have the opportunity to contribute and collaborate with the extended marketing team and learn about all the phases of creative and how copy makes an impact. Through your involvement, you'll not only learn about the Creative Team’s role within the organization but also gain valuable experience and skills to further your professional development in the field. 

Your role as a Creative Copywriter Learner will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of a dynamic and growing organization, as well as exposure to various types of creative and copy. You'll work closely with experienced professionals, receiving mentorship and guidance to help you excel in your role and lay the groundwork for a successful career in Copywriting. 

Responsibilities

  • Learning product portfolio and key product claims to consistently execute correct information by product. 
  • Write impactful copy across key Chomps marketing channels including social content, email content, & digital content for Chomps.com and a variety of retailers as well 360 campaigns and product launches.
  • Execute copy that is based on the best practices of the specific medium or asset. Pushing your voice and skills to adapt to ever changing requests across all of Chomps’ channels.  
  • Consistently adhering to the Brand Voice Guidelines while assuring outside messaging developed by partners also adheres to these guidelines.
  • Effectively managing workload by utilizing Monday.com project management software and turning over deliverables on top and through appropriate channels.

  • Previous experience or coursework in copywriting, journalism, advertising, marketing, etc.

  • Detail-oriented approach, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in task execution.
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Position: Learner, Creative - Copywriter

Reports to: Associate, Copywriter

Location: Remote

Type: Part Time, non-exempt

Pay Range Opportunity:

  • The pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour
  • Weekly hours required: 20 - 28 hours 
  • This is a part-time 6 month temporary, non-exempt position with potential opportunity for extension and/or to turn into full-time opportunity based on business needs

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

  • Our pay ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
