Job Description

Revelyst Golf Technology is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Web Designer to oversee the design direction of our digital presence. This role combines hands-on design work with leadership, mentorship, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate has a strong design portfolio, deep UX/UI expertise, and the ability to guide projects from concept to execution while maintaining high design standards.

This position reports to the Creative Director and is based out of our San Diego office.

As a Lead Web Designer, you will have an opportunity to:

Design & Strategy

  • Define and lead the overall visual and UX/UI design strategy across all web platforms

  • Translate business goals and brand vision into intuitive, engaging web experiences

  • Create and approve wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs

  • Ensure design consistency, scalability, and alignment with brand guidelines

  • Champion user-centered design and accessibility best practices

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and provide feedback to junior and mid-level web designers

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, marketing, and stakeholders

  • Review and approve design work to ensure quality and usability standards

  • Manage design workflows, timelines, and priorities across multiple projects

Execution & Optimization

  • Remain hands-on with design execution when needed

  • Ensure responsive, cross-browser, and cross-device compatibility

  • Continuously improve user experience through testing, feedback, and analytics

  • Oversee design updates, site enhancements, and redesign initiatives

You have:

  • Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator

  • Expert understanding of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and usability testing

  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, design systems, and component libraries

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development workflows

  • Proven ability to lead projects and guide design teams

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

You might have:

  • Experience building and maintaining design systems

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and modern front-end technologies

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices

  • Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, headless CMS)

  • Experience collaborating in Agile or product-driven environment

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $136,000.00 - $150,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
