Location: Englewood, CO / Remote (US-based) / Hybrid (3-days a week in office)

About the Team
Join BillingPlatform’s Product Team, reporting to the VP of Product in Colorado. We define product vision, roadmap, and lead monthly releases and go-to-market efforts. This new role reflects our commitment to user-centered design and enhancing UX across our product portfolio.

The Role
As Lead UX Designer, you’ll shape the global user experience across our enterprise SaaS platform. You'll define and execute UX strategy, lead design and research efforts, and collaborate with Product and Engineering. This “player-coach” role combines strategic leadership with hands-on design.

Key Responsibilities

  • UX Strategy: Establish a cohesive UX vision aligned with business goals and user needs. Champion user-centered design across teams.
  • Design Execution: Lead end-to-end design for complex, portfolio-level features—IA, flows, wireframes, prototypes.
  • User Research: Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative studies. Translate insights into actionable design recommendations.
  • Design Quality: Promote consistency and accessibility through design systems and process improvements.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure technical feasibility and strong user outcomes.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior designers through feedback and direction, while driving high-impact design work.
Requirements
  • 8+ years in UX, Product Design, IA, or related fields, with a strong portfolio of complex SaaS systems.
  • Expertise in Information Architecture, interaction design, user research, and usability testing.
    Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) and a strong grasp of user-centered design principles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to mentor designers while owning critical deliverables.
  • A Master’s in HCI, Interaction Design, or related field will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with design systems and Agile environments will be considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with enterprise finance software (ERP, Billing, Payments)  will be considered an advantage.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000 USD plus bonus per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Salary information is provided per state regulations in CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, NY, RI, and WA.
