As a Lead Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology and Risk Management division, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and leadership skills to promote the secure development and delivery of the Snowflake Data Platform. You will play a pivotal role in managing risk and compliance efforts in a high-performing team, while also upholding operational excellence and mitigating technology risks ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. Your advanced analytical reasoning, adaptability, and stakeholder management abilities will enable you to navigate ambiguity, ensure alignment with business goals, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Job responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project and product plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, risk management, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Lead cross-functional teams-including engineering, product, business stakeholders, and control managers-to define scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business and compliance goals
  • Identify, quantify, and mitigate technology risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
  • Ensure effective governance of controls, policies, issue management, and measurements, providing senior management oversight and reporting on technology risk posture
  • Collaborate with engineers and process owners to monitor, evaluate, and enhance control effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and data security across platforms
  • Anticipate and prepare for future regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX, SOC1/2, GDPR, regional mandates), incorporating disaster recovery and resiliency strategies
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning and data-driven insights to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage your own portfolio of work and develop strategic presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Foster productive working relationships, influence decision-making, and mentor emerging talent to build a stronger, security first, team culture

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on technical product/program management concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing executive-level strategic decision-making
  • Proven track record of managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Proficient in risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting, with exposure to regulatory compliance standards (GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS, SOC1/2)
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and industry standards (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001), data governance, and secure engineering practices (DevSecOps)
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft suite
  • Experience with cloud computing (AWS), vendor management, and data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Proficient in resource management, operational change management, and portfolio management
  • Ability to establish and build strong relationships and partnerships across cross-functional teams and senior leadership

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC)
  • AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with Snowflake (Snowpro Associate certification)
  • Experience with data platforms
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Advanced technical fluency and experience managing vendor relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and operational excellence in a dynamic, evolving risk landscape
