Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Lead Manager that will work with leadership in the Asia, Pacific, & Latin America geography to develop and execute our long-term strategy, identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities, and to catalyze action against these priorities through business planning processes. As part of APLA, you will support Nike’s next frontier of growth, working on impactful projects to help bring the future of sport to a digitally-forward, youthful market that makes up over half of the world’s population.

What you will work on

As a Lead Manager you will be responsible for driving Nike’s global, long-term growth strategy forward. Working on cross-functional project teams, you will support Geography leadership in identifying and evaluating critical priorities and strategic questions that ultimately lead to decisive action. You will be responsible for helping lead the strategic business planning process, authoring & driving strategies, organizing & leading key strategic meetings, and serve as a critical thought partner to our senior leaders to explore complex business issues. You will help drive cross-functional projects under the three core Strategy functional pillars listed below:

  • Build & Catalyze Integrated Growth Plans – Activate our Strategy by driving integrated actions to win with athletes* & drive profitable growth. Be a thought partner to one or more leaders by performing ad-hoc analysis and developing presentations to address meaningful strategic questions related to the leader’s remit and organization.
  • Define Future Strategies – Creating the path for future Nike. Develop frameworks, analysis, and critical thinking for key strategic projects. Scope the work, define workstreams, and serve as overall project quarterback.
  • Assess Impact – Diagnose results aligned to the plan & prioritize future actions. Supporting senior leader(s) on driving understanding of the strategies throughout the organization and mobilizing teams against them and understanding whether these strategies are working or not.

What you bring to NIKE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience
  • Ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
  • Experience conducting and/or analyzing research related to consumers, industries and competitors
  • Demonstrated problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills with experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and influence across a cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Proven experience with presenting and influencing senior leadership, maximizing excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Apparel/footwear, retail, merchandising, digital/ecommerce and/or experience in consumer facing industries and proven understanding of the competitive landscape / retail marketplace.
  • Experience working in (or a keen interest to learn about) in the Asia Pacific and Latin America markets
