Alliant Credit Union is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or foreign equivalent degree. 8 years of related experience. Required Skills: Analyze legacy system architecture and performance metrics to recommend and plan modernization strategies using C# .Net Framework, MVC, .NET Core, Azure DevOps, REST and Web API (5 yrs); Analyze business needs and develop software solutions for public or internal use with the aim of optimizing member experience, system stability and operational efficiency (2 yrs); Assess business requirements and technical constraints to design and deploy secure, high-performance systems using C#, Entity Framework Core, and RESTful APIs (5 yrs); Apply knowledge of financial industry with Symitar API (SymXchange / SymConnect) and platforms such as Episys/Symitar and languages such as PowerOn/RepGen (1 yr); Conduct detailed analysis of system interactions to determine technical solutions and resolve problems that are cost effective and consistent with user needs, system capacities and capabilities (5 yrs); Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades, leveraging Splunk, Log Insight, Grafana for monitoring and performance validation (1 yr); Lead the transformation of outdated applications by analyzing system bottlenecks and implementing modern development practices using Agile methodology and Azure DevOps.
