This is a hybrid position based in our Toronto office.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Restful APIs with 300K request per min, Microservices and Batch Processing Systems. Build well-engineered, stable, scalable software using Cloud technologies and model programming language like Java and Python.
  • Orchestrate and deploy software using Devops CI/CD tools like Harness.
  • Monitor, analyze, and remediate production issues and build operational readiness into the systems architecture to improve system availability.
  • Consult with the business on project status, technical issues, software design, and maintenance.
  • Work with global teams to complete project activities, such as Infrastructure, Architecture, Quality -Assurance and Database teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to other team members, coach and mentor junior engineers.
  • Proactively review the code and provide feedback to the team member.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field, or foreign equivalent and 5 years of relevant software development experience in the position of Team Lead of Software Engineering, or a related position. Or has a Master's degree in Software Engineering or related field, or foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant software development experience in the position of Team Lead of Software Engineering, or a related position.
  • 5 years in Java coding & 2 years working in AWS are required.
  • Good understanding of rational database design and development; Understand the primary document database.
  • Require 2 years of experience in architecture and system design;
  • Prove of experience building highly scalable systems and solving concurrency and multi-threading problems.
