Revivn is a profitable and rapidly growing company that helps enterprises manage their technology through our end of life software platform. We take electronic recycling one step further by repurposing hardware that still has remaining life and providing it to people who lack dedicated computer access and make it more affordable for people who may not be able to purchase new technology. Working with companies like Instacart, Lyft, Qualtrics, X, Gensler, and Allbirds we are changing the way companies view used technology with a new model that focuses on repurposing instead of recycling.

Revivn is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Lead to drive consistency, risk awareness, and operational excellence across our logistics and facility operations in San Leandro! This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of data-bearing assets, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and identifying improvement opportunities across our network of partners and processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct regular audits of client inventory in transit and data-bearing assets at Revivn’s facilities to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance
  • Take ownership of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to quality control and asset management; lead documentation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform gap analyses and risk assessments across Revivn’s logistics partners to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate closely with Facility Operations leadership to develop and refine strategies that enhance quality control, mitigate risk, and support scalable growth
  • Provide support for internal and external audits, including those by regulatory bodies such as ISO and OSHA; assist in preparing and maintaining documentation and processes that align with compliance standards
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in quality and operational performance

We’re ideally seeking:

  • Familiarity with audit processes and compliance requirements (ISO, OSHA, or similar frameworks)
  • Experience managing SOPs or QA/QC documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions
  • High attention to detail and ability to interpret data confidently
  • Effective communicator with the ability to train and influence others
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics software
  • Experience with HEX, Google Sheets, and/or Tableau preferred

What Revivn offers you:

  • This is a new department at Revivn with the opportunity to build processes and frameworks from the ground up
  • The role comes with high visibility and consistent interaction with senior leadership on the Facility Ops team
  • It provides cross-functional exposure, connecting with nearly every team within our facility operations

If this sounds like you, apply! If you don’t meet all of the qualifications but think you could be a match, we’d still love the chance to review your application.

We embrace diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment. At Revivn, we encourage people from all ages, abilities, and experiences to apply. Revivn does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ancestry, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital or family status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, pregnancy or caregiver status, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.

The salary for a Quality Control Lead Associate is $23/hr. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
