Lead Project Manager

As a Lead Project Manager, you are responsible for independently managing a diverse range of integrated projects from planning and kickoff through successful completion. You ensure the smooth execution of all assigned projects and are recognized as a reliable, proactive force within the project management team. You are expected to uphold Propeller’s standards, drive operational efficiency, and model a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.

Project Management

  • Own the full lifecycle of projects on assigned business from initial pre-planning to final execution
  • Develop, implement, and manage project plans, facilitating the execution of various cross-discipline projects including routing, file management and timeline management
  • Prioritize tasks, communicate deliverables, and ensure the team stays on targets with budgets and deadlines regularly communicating on the status of projects, escalating issues as needed
  • Maintain accurate project management documentation including status reports, hot sheets, timelines, roadmaps, scope trackers, and financial reports
  • Work with brand leaders and cross-functional team members to holistically manage the delivery of assets across various platforms and navigate competing priorities, potential roadblocks, or workflow impacts
  • Track project estimates and actuals to be accountable for the scope, identifying any budgetary concerns that may impact successful project delivery

Operational Excellence

  • Proactively seek opportunities to streamline processes and share learnings and best practices with the team
  • Analyze production workflows to find efficiency gaps and collaborate with project management peers to standardize or improve workflows
  • Develop knowledge of client's processes and procedures to act as champion for internal team adoption
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of project management best practices and process improvements
  • Actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and agency initiatives, embracing a culture of continuous learning and evolution

Relationship Management

  • Foster a collaborative, positive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal teams and, when appropriate, client stakeholders regarding project status and delivery
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with account, creative, and digital partners to drive project success
  • Coordinate and inspire internal resources and external partners to deliver high quality, forward thinking, digital assets that align to client and brand goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4+ years of project management experience, at least 2 years in a pharma advertising agency or similar regulated environment
  • Fluency with multiple interactive mediums including websites, banners, social media, and emails
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects with high attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams; ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority
  • Comfort with project management software and digital tools
  • Enthusiasm for learning and supporting the growth of junior team members

Salary Range - $105,000-$121,000
