 THE HIGH LEVEL

The Lead Process Engineer develops and optimizes workflows, methodologies, and standard operating procedures for the OpenShift Virtualization project. This role ensures that best practices are documented, repeatable, and aligned with organizational goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Working with a team of highly motivated professionals supporting Veterans Affair RedHat OpenShift environment mapping and refining processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks
  • Employing Agile, DevOps, or other modern software development/process frameworks
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Automation, Operations) to gather requirements and identify process improvements

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Experience mapping and refining processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or other modern software development/process frameworks
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Automation, Operations) to gather requirements and identify process improvements
  • Strong documentation skills for creating standardized policies and procedures
  • Aptitude for data-driven analysis to track performance metrics and recommend refinements10+ years of hands-on process improvement experience
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Automation and Integration
  • US Citizen able to obtain VA Public Trust Clearance
