WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Due to continued expansion to support our customers, we have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Post Sales Engineer to join the EOS Team. You will be the technical oversight resource that will work with and oversee the Project Engineering Team that holds responsibility for a project from award to the final commissioning phases. You will be responsible for the identification of any specific needs or processes to ensure the successful delivery of projects by the team.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day to day management of the Post Sales Engineering Team, this will include planning, organization, scheduling, team risk mitigation, goal identification and delivery.
  • Enable the team to support Project Managers, Drafting, Programming, Field Implementation Teams and Sales, including assistance with product testing and remote commissioning support.
  • Oversee and review, as necessary, the team’s modification of project Scope of Works (SOW) with the teams to ensure desired operation and customer satisfaction.
  • Review and approve team support documentation for project deployment 
  • Keep current and oversee the technical aspects of the systems being installed through manufacturer training and partner relationships.
  • Work with the field and commissioning teams to establish training plans and identify new technology awareness and certifications where necessary.
  • Review and final approval of team technical documents for use in company standards.
  • Provide status and feedback of the team to management with the goal to improve both team and project success and ensure engineering deployments to the highest EOS standard.
  • Develop, review and approve team and individual plans for KPI success.
  • Work with the Human Resource’s to support the Post Sale Engineering team as needed.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Minimum of 15+ years Design experience working with the AV Industry
  • Degree level qualified in a formal technical discipline or 10+ years professional AV industry experience in implementation and / or system support.
  • Proven competence in team and people management.
  • Ability to work with other teams successfully and resolve project concerns.
  • Ability to manage a diverse team, promote a positive team environment and resolve conflicts where necessary.
  • Team and individual resource progress tracking skillsets
  • Knowledge of design implementation, Installation or Service Experience of key technologies such as
    • Control (Crestron, AMX, Extron)
    • Audio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM)
    • Video (Cisco, Polycom, QSC, Crestron, Lightware, Teams, Zoom)
    • AVoIP Design and Deployment
  • CTS certification or higher
  • Project or Field management experience for large projects
  • Excellent communication skills for both internal and external communications in the form of both written and verbal communication

Knowledge of the following is expected for success in the role:

  • Audio systems design including conferencing audio, digital sound systems, public address, event spaces.
  • Video systems, large format displays, projection, video wall image processing.
  • Control systems touchscreen controls, automation, and smart building technology.
  • Video conference systems, integration techniques and deployment.
  • Audio visual system infrastructure design and planning.
  • Flexibility is required to accommodate working across time zones as part of a global team, including international travel upon notice if necessary.
  • Full driving licence that will enable you to meet any driving requirements

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • CTS-D, CTS-I certifications
  • Formal educational degree in a Mechanical or Engineering Field
  • AutoCAD, BIM software or similar
  • Microsoft Excel, Visio
  • Ease Software
  • Shure, QSC, Lightware Certifications
  • Proficiency in technical writing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint presentations
