Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned work area, line or cell, ensuring that all team members are performing their tasks efficiently and safely.

  • Advanced machine operation, product assembly, and/or inspection of product.

  • Safety leader for overall work area including machine safety; guides others in safe practices.

  • Responsible for 5S of work areas.

  • Responsible for scrap reduction; recommends/drives efforts in this regard.

  • Responsible for training/cross-training personnel.

  • Provide break coverage when needed.

  • Assuring adherence to standard work; Work order/material management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 6+ years of production or assembly experience preferred.

  • White Belt certification or higher.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
