  • Design dashboards, saved searches, KPIs, and reports to surface insights for Finance, Operations, and Executive leadership.
  • Lead integrity testing for upgrades and new feature rollouts; maintain clean environments across sandboxes and production.
  • Evaluate current processes and develop scalable workflows that align with evolving business needs.
  • Lead system integrations between NetSuite and platforms such as:
    • Salesforce, Stripe, Concur (Expense Management), Zip (Procurement Intake), and banking platforms
    • BI tools and middleware (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft)
  • Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization across systems, including expense, procurement, and financial data.
  • Document requirements, use cases, process maps, technical specs, and post-deployment change control artifacts.
  • Partner with Business Applications, Finance, and Ops teams to prioritize, develop, and deploy high-impact system enhancements.
  • Act as a functional lead in both production and sandbox NetSuite environments; ensure system reliability, user support, and roadmap alignment.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution design artifacts, and data models.
  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and security compliance across NetSuite and integrated solutions.
  • Drive best practices around DevOps (CI/CD), testing, and change management.
  • Collaborate with cross-theater/ Cross timezones teams to execute end-to-end projects involving finance systems and integrations.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in NetSuite technical roles, including custom development and system design.
  • Hands-on expertise in SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, saved searches, custom records, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Strong background in building real-time and scheduled reports, including operational and financial KPIs.
  • Experience with NetSuite integration via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
  • Knowledge of accounting, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and/or subscription billing flows.
  • Ability to manage technical projects from design through deployment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; able to translate technical details for business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite Certifications such as SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer, or Administrator
  • Experience implementing or supporting NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management) and SuiteBilling
  • Hands-on knowledge of NetSuite OneWorld (multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, multi-taxation setup)
  • Experience working with middleware/integration platforms like Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, Workato, etc.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM integrations with NetSuite
  • Exposure to subscription billing models, usage-based billing, and SaaS revenue recognition
  • Working knowledge of financial processes such as Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash
  • Experience supporting or leading system implementations, upgrades, or ERP migrations
  • Understanding SOX compliance and internal control processes in a public company environment

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and working in cross-functional squads
  • Ability to mentor junior developers or provide architectural guidance
  • Experience with NetSuite SuiteAnalytics Workbook and/or external BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

Why You’ll Thrive Here

  • High ownership, visible impact, and access to SaaS company leaders
  • Continuous learning environment with no shortage of exciting problems to solve
  • Supportive hybrid work culture with a focus on collaboration, autonomy, and accountability

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
