You will define and execute Circle's end‑to‑end monetization strategy for our payments product suite (including CPN and future launches). What you'll work on
- Lead monetization strategy for Circle's payments products across PSPs, payment networks, and related partners
- Own product pricing strategy, building consensus with BD, Product, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Compliance
- Design and optimize distribution‑incentive programs that attract and retain high‑value network participants
- Build and maintain short‑ and long‑term financial models to quantify the impact of pricing and incentive decisions
- Define, track, and report key monetization KPIs, turning insights into actionable optimizations
- Pitch, debate, and secure executive approval for monetization and incentive proposals, balancing revenue, risk, and customer value
- Coordinate with Operations, GTM, and Support teams to ensure smooth execution and measurement of monetization initiatives
What you'll bring to Circle
- 5+ years' experience in Monetization, Strategy, Strategic Finance, or a related field
- 2+ experience working within the payments industry, either at a payments company or serving this segment
- Track record of launching "first‑of‑its‑kind" commercial constructs or pricing models
- Advanced financial‑modeling skills (Excel, Sheets, or equivalent)
- Confident communicator who tailors messaging for executives and technical stakeholders alike
- Self‑driven, proactive problem‑solver eager to broaden business‑strategy scope
Preferred requirements
- Experience designing repeatable frameworks and operational processes at scale
- Knowledge of crossborder and/or stablecoin payments flows and products
- Comfortable in customer‑facing settings, pitching proposals alongside Business Development
- Thrives amid ambiguity and can bring structure to evolving problem spaces
