Lead Logistics Data Analyst

The Lead Logistics Data Analyst will lead logistics analytics and systems projects that improve service, cost, productivity, and visibility across Honeywell Aerospace. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Logistics Data Analytics & Systems, this role combines deep knowledge of logistics operations with an understanding of how ERP, warehouse management, transportation management, and reporting systems create and move data. You will translate operational problems into practical process, data, and system solutions, guide cross-functional delivery, and make the results usable by the teams that run the operation.

• Lead assigned logistics analytics and systems projects from problem definition and business case through requirements, delivery, testing, adoption, and benefits tracking. Maintain plans, milestones, risks, decisions, and clear stakeholder updates.
• Serve as the logistics process subject matter expert for transportation, warehousing, inventory movement, and related handoffs. Map current workflows and data flows, identify root causes, and design scalable improvements with site and functional partners.
• Partner with Logistics, Integrated Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and external providers to define requirements and improve the use and integration of ERP, WMS, TMS, and adjacent systems. Validate that system changes reflect operational reality and preserve data integrity.
• Lead analytics work that connects source data to business decisions. Develop or guide SQL queries, data validation, Tableau dashboards, and Python-based analysis or automation as appropriate; establish clear KPI definitions and reconcile results with source systems.
• Use logistics metrics to prioritize opportunities and measure outcomes, including cost, on-time performance, warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, capacity, and exception trends.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, documentation, training, and change management for new reports, processes, and system enhancements. Resolve issues after launch and support sustained adoption.
• Identify data quality, control, and compliance risks; partner with appropriate owners on access, governance, export control, and other applicable requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

• At least  6 years of progressive experience in logistics or integrated supply chain operations, systems, analytics, or project delivery, including ownership of complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Working knowledge of transportation and warehouse processes and the operational data generated by ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms.
• Hands-on experience using SQL to investigate, reconcile, and analyze operational data and experience building business-facing dashboards in Tableau or a comparable BI platform.
• Ability to lead projects across business and technical teams, communicate tradeoffs, manage dependencies, and deliver measurable improvements.
   

WE VALUE

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with Python for data preparation, analysis, automation, or forecasting.
• Experience implementing or enhancing ERP, WMS, or TMS solutions and documenting system interfaces, data mappings, and end-to-end data flows.
• Experience with logistics network, carrier, warehouse, or inventory analytics in a multi-site or global environment.
• Experience in aerospace or another complex, regulated supply chain.
• Advanced degree, project management certification, or Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Ability to coach colleagues on analytical methods and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $139,000 - $174,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
