Powered by two trusted, global brands, Shark and Ninja, the company has a proven track record of bringing disruptive innovation to market, and developing one consumer product after another has allowed SharkNinja to enter multiple product categories, driving significant growth and market share gains. About the Role
At SharkNinja, we move fast, think differently, and take ownership of what we build. We are looking for a DevOps Lead who brings a strong engineering mindset, a bias for automation, and the ability to scale reliable delivery across enterprise platforms.
This role supports Oracle Cloud-based ERP platforms and Salesforce systems that power our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business. You will lead DevOps practices across multiple systems while remaining hands-on with CI/CD automation, environment management, and release governance.
This is an ideal role for someone who has built software as a developer, transitioned into DevOps leadership, and enjoys enabling teams to deliver faster without compromising quality, security, or compliance.
How We Work at SharkNinja
Our work is guided by a set of principles that shape how we build and lead:
  • Consumer-Obsessed: Our systems directly impact the customer experience
  • Owner's Mindset: We take accountability from design through production
  • Bias for Action: We favor progress, learning, and iteration
  • Simplify & Automate: Automation is the foundation of scale
  • Raise the Bar: High standards in reliability, security, and engineering
  • Win Together: Collaboration over silos

This role is well suited for someone who naturally operates with these values.
What You'll Do
DevOps Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead DevOps strategy and execution across Oracle Fusion ERP, OCI platforms, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud & OMS
  • Serve as the DevOps subject matter expert, influencing standards, tooling, and best practices
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to DevOps and application teams

CI/CD Ownership & Automation
  • Build, maintain, and continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and enterprise DevOps automation tools (e.g., FlexDeploy or similar)
  • Ensure code is automatically tested, built, and deployed efficiently across environments
  • Drive pipeline standardization while supporting platform-specific needs (Oracle and Salesforce)

Environment & Infrastructure Management
  • Manage development, staging, UAT, and production environments across Oracle and Salesforce platforms
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, where applicable
  • Ensure environment consistency, reliability, and repeatability across releases

Version Control & Release Management
  • Own GitHub branching strategies, pull request workflows, and merge processes
  • Enforce best practices for code reviews, automated testing, and release approvals
  • Coordinate and orchestrate releases across multiple dependent systems

Monitoring, Reliability & Observability
  • Implement and manage monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Monitor deployments, uptime, performance, and pipeline health
  • Drive improvements in deployment stability, incident response, and recovery time

Security, Compliance & Governance
  • Integrate automated security scanning, dependency checks, and policy controls into CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure DevOps practices align with security standards and compliance requirements
  • Support SOX-controlled environments by enabling traceability, approvals, and audit readiness
  • Partner with Security, Audit, and Compliance teams to balance speed with control

Platforms You'll Support
  • Oracle Fusion ERP / SCM
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP)
  • Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Salesforce Order Management (OMS)

Candidates must have hands-on developer experience with at least one of these platforms.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Lead or Senior DevOps Engineer
  • Prior hands-on developer experience on Oracle and/or Salesforce platforms
  • Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with GitHub in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools (FlexDeploy preferred or similar commercial tools)
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-system enterprise applications

Nice to Have
  • Experience in SOX-controlled or regulated environments
  • Experience with eCommerce or Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platforms
  • Familiarity with observability and security tooling
  • Cloud, DevOps, Oracle, or Salesforce certifications

Why Join SharkNinja
  • Work on enterprise platforms that support global consumer brands
  • Operate in a culture that values ownership, speed, and innovation
  • Influence DevOps practices across Oracle and Salesforce ecosystems
  • Partner with talented teams who value outcomes over process

Ideal Candidate Profile
You:
  • Have built software - not just pipelines
  • Take ownership and see problems through to resolution
  • Value automation, simplicity, and high engineering standards
  • Can move fast while maintaining reliability and control
  • Lead through technical credibility and collaboration

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
