In this role, you will:
- Deliver results that align with Commercial Banking and Commercial Banking line of business priorities and that satisfy Commercial Banking stakeholders and Wells Fargo's risk management priorities and commitments.
- Strategically collaborate with portfolio team and customer credit to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives.
- Evaluates credit actions according to applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Reviews financial statements, communicates with clients or account debtors, and performs analysis to be used in credit decisions.
- Utilize delegated credit approval authority to perform credit decisioning on individual credit orders.
- Communicate and coordinate with portfolio, customer credit, collections, external counsel, clients, and account debtors to effectively manage customer credit risk while satisfying client needs.
- Proactively monitor account debtor exposure trends (i.e. financials, risk ratings, trade reports, industry reports, and payment trends).
- Review legal documentation such as letters or credit, non-disclosure agreements, cash collateral agreements, and cross-corporate guarantees to ensure applicable terms, and requirements are incorporated and adhered to.
- Provide guidance to junior associates on credit and industry trends, and product knowledge as applicable.
- 5+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of relevant experience in factoring, or credit management and analysis earned in a banking setting or shared service environment
- Solid credit acumen with the ability to understand client financials and structure appropriate credit solutions
- Strong relationship management skills, with a proven ability to expand, grow, and retain client relationships
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
- May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards
- Ability to work on-site at one the posted work location
