Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud.

Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.

It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.

Why this role?

As the Snyk Channel Manager for the West Region, you’ll play a key role in shaping how modern organizations build and secure software at scale by owning the strategy and performance of our partner ecosystem in a critical growth territory. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our channel partners, including developing existing strategic relationships such as Optiv and Guidepoint and actively recruiting new security-focused partners within the region. You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team and help drive our mission to embed security into every part of the AI-native development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own the strategy, enablement, development, and performance of our channel partners in the west region.

  • Develop and incorporate Snyk into the partner’s DevSecOps strategy and business plan, covering all aspects of the partner relationship.

  • Work closely with Snyk sales leadership and team to drive a partner-aligned plan and pipeline within the west territory.

  • Recruit and onboard regionally specific, security-focused partners in key states in the region.

  • Lead regular business performance and relationship reviews with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop a strong alliance partner plan and build and maintain activity and performance reports.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Snyk’s solutions and business value to effectively align partners with Snyk sales segmentation and teams.

What You Bring:
  • You bring a minimum of five (5) or more years of Channel Sales experience.

  • You have a proven track record of selling with or through the security channel partner ecosystem in the central region.

  • You demonstrate a track record of using solution selling and value-based selling techniques.

  • You possess excellent presentation, written, and overall communication skills.

  • You are a high-energy sales person who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

It’d Be Awesome If You Also…
  • Can build performance and activity reports that clearly track progress and impact.

  • Are comfortable with a travel schedule of up to 50% to attend partner activities and events.

  • Bring fresh ideas and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.

  • Have hands-on experience with modern security tools or DevSecOps workflows.

We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
