What You'll DoWe’re seeking a Senior Capture Specialist to be part of our innovative team. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and devices. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with both internal and external clients while contributing to the latest projects. Your primary responsibilities will include data collection and processing for various projects, as well as supporting Research and Development (R&D) initiatives, with the main focus on managing the LA scanning location.
In this role, you will- Capture data with Face and Body scanners and provide Facial Action Coding System (FACS) direction
- Work on data ingestion and processing
- Capture and process Reference data (IBL)
- Collect data for R&D purposes
- Work on improvements and maintenance of scanning spaces and devices
- Managing the local team and day-to-day scanning sessions
- Bringing new and innovative approaches to the wider team
- Advanced knowledge of scanning technology and data processing techniques (Photogrammetry)
- Knowledge of Agisoft Metashape or Reality Capture, Autodesk Maya or similar, and Photoshop of similar
- Knowledge of DSLR and machine vision cameras
- Understanding of IT infrastructure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Leading a team and a scanning facility
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to respectfully interact with co-workers at all levels in a professional environment
- Lead, train, mentor, develop, and grow team members, enabling them to achieve career goals and best outcomes while increasing the team's capabilities

Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
