🐶 Our mission
Every pet should get the care they need, regardless of cost. Vet med prices are up 40% since 2020, and pet owners are stuck having to pick between their bank account and furry friend. At Snout, we aim to solve this by enabling clinics to offer pet wellness plans, that actually work.

🚀 The opportunity

Snout is one of the fastest growing wellness plan providers in the veterinary space, trusted by clinics across the U.S. We’re a small but mighty startup team and we’re on the lookout for a Launch Clinic Success Manager based in our Troy, Michigan office to help every new partner clinic start strong and build enrollments in its first 90 days.

💻 The role

As a Launch Clinic Success Manager (CSM), you’ll be the clinic’s main partner for a successful wellness plan launch. You’ll align clinic leadership, train the full clinic team, build buy-in, and put goals and incentives in place that drive enrolments through the clinic’s first 90 days. You’ll report to our Head of Clinic Success and work side by side with our Onboarding Specialist and Nurture Clinic Success Managers.

A clinic’s first 90 days are the best predictor of how it will do long term. When the whole clinic’s team believes in the plans, it leads to enrollments building early and then the clinic is set up to grow for years. This is impactful work because it means more pets get the preventive care their owners can afford through Snout’s wellness plans. A slow clinic start with plan sales is much harder to turn around later, which is why this role matters so much.

If you’re a natural in front of a room, love coaching people toward a goal, and get a kick out of watching numbers climb, we’d love to hear from you. Come help the pack get more pets the care they need!

Snout is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We know that great candidates may not check every box — and that’s okay. If you're excited about this role and our mission, we encourage you to apply if you meet at least 50% of qualifications. If you need any accommodations during the application or interview process, please let us know — we’re happy to support you.

🛠 What you’ll do

  • Build buy-in through leadership alignment meetings before every launch
  • Lead training sessions that prepare the full clinic team, from front desk to vets, to launch
  • Set and manage each launch timeline with an Onboarding Specialist
  • Create and share marketing materials (emails, flyers, talking points) that support launch and drive enrollments
  • Put enrollment goals and incentive programs in place for each clinic’s first 90 days
  • Drive enrollments through active, hands-on support during the launch window
  • Track progress toward launch milestones, flag risks early, and raise clinics that are falling behind
  • Hand each clinic off to its Nurture Clinic Success Manager at Day 90 with a clear picture of where it stands

💡What we're looking for

  • 3+ years experience as a Practice Manager or General Manager of a veterinary clinic, human medical clinic, spa, or similar service business, or as an Account Manager in a sales role
  • Clear, confident communicator who enjoys presenting to groups and leadership teams
  • Strong relationship-building and coaching skills, with a track record of getting a team behind a new goal
  • Comfort creating or directing marketing materials like emails, flyers, and talking points
  • Sharp critical thinking and problem solving on a tight timeline
  • Real motivation to help clinics with very different needs succeed with their wellness plans

🌟 What will make you stand out

  • Experience working in or with veterinary clinics
  • You’ve run staff incentive programs or sales contests and can share the results
  • Experience with wellness plans, memberships, or other subscription offerings
  • Tolerance for working in a fast-paced technology environment with high ambiguity
  • An interest in technology or startups

💖 Why you should join Snout

  • A chance to be a part of a mission driven company in the pet industry without having to be in clinic
  • Fast growing, venture capital backed technology company focused on improving access to veterinary care
  • Ability to have a meaningful impact from Day 1, where your voice and opinion matters
  • Unlimited potential to grow in your career, learn and expand your skillsets
  • This role is in person Monday to Friday in our Troy, MI office but we offer flexibility for your life needs

❌ Why this role might not be a fit for you

  • You cannot work in person or cannot make the daily commute to our Troy, MI office
  • A fast-paced, technology and startup environment isn’t appealing to you
  • You don’t enjoy working directly with clients, hopping on calls, presenting and teaching others
  • Working alone or on small teams doesn’t sound fun to you
  • You dislike wearing multiple hats or having a heavy workload
  • You can’t handle ambiguity and lack of structure
  • Being measured on enrollment results within a 90 day window sounds more stressful than exciting

💸 Compensation

  • $55 000 - $65 000 base salary + bonus plan / $80 000 OTE

⚕️Benefits

  • Day 1 medical/dental/vision benefits
  • Flexible time off + 11 Snout calendar holidays
  • Paid parental leave

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
