Job Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible for aggregating and analyzing data across business units to provide actionable insights for our organization through the creation of reports, dashboards, and analysis. This role collaborates with all departments to aid in finding ways to utilize data to improve revenue and efficiency within our organization. Responsibilities include prototyping new impactful data visualizations, deploying analytic solutions, and enhancing existing reports and dashboards.
Essential Functions
- Create, manage and enhance reports across all departments to effectively communicate results of business strategies by using analytical tools such as PowerBI, SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
- Collaborate with ticketing team to ensure all needed reports are delivered to sales team and leadership including sales standings, daily sales reports; Validate data, identity trends to improve sales efforts.
- Work with the Data Engineer to ensure data is structured properly for analysis to ensure the data desired is received. Effectively communicate with leadership team to understand issues/discrepancies and work with Data Engineer to correct any issues.
- Collaborate with marketing team to ensure all needed reports are delivered to marketing team and leadership including paid advertising results, campaign details, and more as needed.
- Build profiles of the teams’ customers (demographic, geographic and psychographic) to help sales, marketing and sponsorship efforts; Work with teams to ensure reports are delivering needed data and expectations are being met and surpassed.
- Support the CRM/Email team in analyzing data to provide recommendations on improving teams use of platforms.
- Assist with market research efforts and providing insights to business leaders including surveys and focus groups.
- Work with Global Partnerships team to track effectiveness of sponsor activations, specifically regarding all measurable aspects of agreements by aggregating data and identifying trends in digital platforms.
- Support the digital media team with routine reports, summaries and insight into all digital media metrics, including website, social media and video.
- Present reports and analysis to the business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred)- in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or Analytics
- 2-4 years
- Related work experience
- Experience with statistical programming packages like SAS, SPSS, R, or Python
- Experience with working with ticketing or transactional data
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Veritix preferred
- Experience with database systems such as AWS preferred
- Experience using BI tools (PowerBI/Tableau/Looker) to create interactive data visualizations and reports.
- Experience, proficiency, and working knowledge of SQL and data warehousing
Payscale: $71,000 - $80,000
Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
