Job Duties

  • Build a suite of software using Java, Flink, and Pulsar to identify pricing inefficiencies in live trading markets. 
    • Assist with development of in-house hybrid cloud application frameworks. 

    • Understand the full lifecycle and intricacies of a trading platform, including observability and deployment. 

    • Interact and develop against third-party hybrid cloud messaging, data, observability, and deployment platforms. 

    • Share ideas, experience, and knowledge with other members of the team. 

    • Provide feedback to leadership on team health and processes to continuously improve productivity, tooling, and code quality. 

    • Coordinate directly with stakeholders and firm leaders to plan work and design solutions. 

    • Propose architectural improvements to the system to improve reliability, latency, and throughput. 

    • Plan and lead projects, including breaking down and assigning work to other engineers 

    •

Minimum Requirements (must meet all):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, AND
  • 12-months’ experience in developing applications using Java or Kotlin and the utilization and application of quantitative models.
