A TRUMPF Key Account Manager will be responsible for the management and profitability of defined key account customers– all regions for continental US, Canada and Mexico.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all sales activities and various other support needs for our key account customers.

  • Be the first choice of contact for our key account customers and find solutions to support them in any case.

  • Travel to customer facilities and have web and phone meetings to promote good business relationships with TRUMPF key account customers on a regular base.

  • Collect information and act as the key information hub within TRUMPF with respect to key account customers.     

  • Negotiate frame agreement prices and terms and finalize (close) orders with proper terms and conditions.     

  • Constantly improve technical knowledge of the TRUMPF product group.     

  • Actively use CRM system to document information.     

  • Support future sales through proper marketing, media and industry trade shows as needed.

Experience

Three to five years' experience in capital equipment sales, or equivalent technical and management experience. Customer Service experience preferred (2-3 years).  Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel and PowerPoint with background experience in a CRM module for sales.  Must be able to work independently, efficiently and have high energy.  Willing to be part of a hardworking team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent demonstrated experience in a similar capacity. Some management education would be preferred.
