Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial activities for the Power Transmission business line across assigned customer accounts and sales territories.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for Power Transmission products and services, including power and distribution transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors and instrument transformers, power quality and power sensing devices, and related services.
  • Develop account plans to support execution of commercial strategies and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with product line teams and external manufacturers’ sales representatives to achieve order intake objectives.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customer decision-makers in support of account strategies.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts of orders, margins, and sales for assigned customer accounts using the Salesforce CRM application.
  • Facilitate and support cash and receivables management activities for assigned customer accounts.
  • Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing.
  • Perform periodic account reviews with leadership
  • Travel regularly to customer locations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a sales, account management, proposal development, business development, or product management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical or utility industry in a related role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customer decision-makers.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%, primarily within assigned accounts and sales territories, with occasional travel to domestic U.S. and international manufacturing locations
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of Power Transmission products and services, including power and distribution transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors and instrument transformers, power quality devices, power sensing devices, and related services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships, account strategy, and commercial activities.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working with manufacturer's sales representatives
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management tools

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $108,600.00 and $181,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
