Role Description and Mission:
Agero's Automotive Account Management team is growing and we need a strategic leader who can unlock the untapped growth potential within our most prestigious accounts. Your mission is to move beyond transactional selling and become a trusted advisor to the nation’s largest Dealer Groups and OEM partners.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end health and expansion of our most critical accounts. This isn’t about aggressive "closing" tactics; it’s about disciplined execution. You will navigate complex organizational webs – aligning Legal, Procurement, and OEM approvals – to drive massive ROI through revenue lift and operational efficiency. You win when our clients win, ensuring that "no decision" is never an option. By deeply understanding our clients' long-term visions, you will work hand-in-hand with our Product Management team to influence new development, ensuring that the next generation of Agero products is perfectly tailored to solve the complex challenges of the automotive industry. From navigating high-stakes pricing and contract renewals to executing multi-year growth plans, you will be the driving force behind our clients' success and our collective innovation.
Key Outcomes:
- Strategic Growth & Portfolio Expansion: Move beyond the current footprint by identifying white-space opportunities within existing accounts and executing complex expansion plans.
- Process & Deal Control: Drive a disciplined sales process using mutual action plans and clear milestones. You will own the timeline, preventing "deal drift" by proactively managing internal and external dependencies.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as the primary point of contact for Dealer Principals and OEM VPs, skillfully aligning conflicting priorities across multiple departments to keep deals moving forward.
- Consultative ROI Delivery: Translate our platform’s value into the language of the automotive industry: revenue lift, cost avoidance, and operational simplicity.
- Cycle Acceleration: Shorten sales cycles not by rushing the client, but by anticipating "derailers" and mitigating them before they become roadblocks.
- Product Influence & Innovation: Partner directly with Product Management to translate client pain points into new product features, leading Innovation Workshops that position our technology as a core component of their future success.
- Execution Excellence: Transform strategic plans into reality by managing internal dependencies across legal, compliance, and engineering to deliver on promised outcomes.
Skills, Education and Experience:
Required:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Account Management, B2B Sales, or a related commercial role.
- Strategic Growth Mastery: Proven track record in managing $MM accounts where growth was driven by strategy and product expansion, not just renewals.
- Consultative Influence: You have experience facilitating Innovation Workshops and can steer a room of C-suite executives toward a shared vision.
- Product Mindset: You are comfortable speaking "Product" and "Engineering" languages – you know how to build a business case for a new feature that will unlock an entire client segment.
- Commercial Acumen: Expert in contract negotiation and value-based pricing; you understand the levers that protect margins while increasing client ROI.
- Disciplined Execution: You are highly organized and proficient in CRM; you document strategic account plans that serve as the "source of truth" for the entire cross-functional team.
- Complex Problem Solving: You are an expert at navigating the "internal" sale—managing the legal, compliance, and procurement hurdles that often stall big deals.
Preferred:
- Automotive & SaaS Fluency: You speak the language of the automotive industry and have deep experience managing the unique dynamics of OEM and large Dealer Group partnerships. You are comfortable in high-pressure environments where securing multi-stakeholder buy-in is a standard part of the growth process.
- Advanced degrees (MBA) are considered a plus.

The anticipated closing date to submit applications for this role is March 6, 2026.
