We’re looking for our next K-12 Sales Representative to join our Sales team in Massachusetts, United States. You’ll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, negotiating deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and feels comfortable reaching out to potential customers.

- Identify and qualify Edpuzzle adoption opportunities within a given territory.
- Communicate with schools using Edpuzzle in your region and develop an understanding of their needs and goals.
- Reach out to prospective schools in a resourceful and engaging way, leveraging different communication channels. Help coordinate meetings with potential clients.
- Create opportunities for growth and development through active prospecting and relationship-building with customers.
- Discover how schools in your region are organized, allocate funding, and approve purchases.
- Become an expert in Edpuzzle.
- Learn key metrics that drive new business and identify new business opportunities.
- Own the sales process from start to finish by understanding goals and developing strategies to achieve them.
- Start new conversations, engage with, and foster interest in Edpuzzle with dozens of schools daily via inbound requests and outbound campaigns.
- Make phone calls to follow up with schools and decision-makers.
- Follow up on the previous week’s 100+ conversations to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Reach out to active users to grow excitement for Edpuzzle’s educational solution.
- Seek out opportunities for face-to-face meetings with IT coaches, curriculum leaders, or school administrators.
- Maintain a strong pipeline: managing & logging activities in the Salesforce CRM with all the different opportunities generated accurately.
- Achieve business goals and targets, managing OKRs, KPIs, ARR, etc.
- Meet with your manager regularly to review status and brainstorm new projects to accomplish goals.
- Set daily tasks with your manager initially, while becoming more autonomous and proactive with meeting expectations over time.
- Travel within your region to conferences and meetings up to 50% of the time (primarily within New Jersey and Maryland).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About you
- You have a real passion for Sales
- 2+ years’ experience in educational leadership roles
- 1+ year's experience in sales roles
- You live in Massachusetts
- You thrive in managing sales opportunities, navigating through the buying process, and moving deals towards successful implementation.
- You’re familiar with school sales cycles and educational purchasing systems with a deep curiosity about the education landscape.
- You thrive in cross-functional teams with strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Persistent, self-motivated, adaptable, extroverted, and a strategic thinker who is comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (primarily within Massachusetts and Connecticut)
Bonus skills
- Proven experience managing a sales territory with $1M+ in annual revenue
- K–12 EdTech sales experience preferred
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a high-performance sales environment
- Demonstrated ability to close complex deals and maintain strong client relationships over time
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce to track pipeline and forecast revenue

What we offer
- 💰Competitive base salary of $60,000 - $70,000. Compensation for this role will vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, and skill set. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive pay component under an On-Target Earnings structure (with an estimated OTE ranging from $100K-$150K with uncapped commission that can lead to exceeding the listed range).
