As a Junior Recruiter, you'll handle recruiting coordination, manage the Applicant Tracking System, support high-volume hiring, and assist in onboarding and recruitment events.

We're on the search for a Junior Recruiter that is driven by both a passion for people and a drive to learn and grow. In this role, you'll partner collaboratively with our internal HQ and Store teams. This role is the perfect mix of hands-on recruiting and coordination magic. You’ll support the recruiting team, while keeping our systems, data, and processes efficient and on point. Oh, and you'll have some serious fun along the way.
This role operates on a hybrid schedule and will require to work from our HQ located in the City of Industry, CA three days a week.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Maintain and configure our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)—posting/removing jobs, managing user access, and ensuring system accuracy
 - Support high-volume hiring for Stores
 - Run reports for various business partners—covering new store openings, temp usage, and other ad hoc needs
 - Lead new hire orientations and help coordinate onboarding steps—scheduling, booking rooms, and ensuring a smooth experience for every new team member
 - Maintain and reorder recruiting and marketing materials for HQ, Hot Topic and BoxLunch stores
 - Assist in organizing recruiting events and job fairs to build brand presence and connect with local talent
 - Provide general HR and recruiting administrative support as needed
 - Support full-cycle and temporary recruiting for entry-level roles—posting jobs, screening, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate and hiring manager communication
 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 1–2 years of recruiting experience (retail or high-volume environments a plus)
 - Experience using recruiting tools (Lever, Indeed, etc.)
 - Great communication and organizational skills—you thrive on multitasking without dropping a beat. The priorities in this role will shift from day to day, and you'll be able to keep pace.
 - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data management
 - High energy, positive attitude, and a love for working with people
 - Team-player mentality—you collaborate, communicate, and make things happen
 - Bonus points if you love music, pop culture, fandoms, and self-expression
