As a Junior QA Test Intern, you’ll help test and verify complex asset management applications and related products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring we deliver high-quality software that exceeds customer expectations.Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Review PRDs and derive test plans from use case scenarios
- Execute manual test plans and document results
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts (e.g., Selenium WebDriver)
- Perform peer reviews of automated tests to ensure coding standards are followed
- Use Git to manage test assets and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline
- Analyze regression test failures and assist with root cause analysis
- Log, track, and retest defects throughout the SDLC
- Collaborate closely with developers and QA team members to help achieve sprint goals
Required Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Programming experience (Java required, JavaScript or similar a plus)
- Ability to write basic SQL queries
- Experience or coursework in automated testing (e.g., Selenium WebDriver)
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Selenium
- Git
- Jira
- Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, or similar IDE
- Zephyr or similar testing tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
