Description

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC growth-focused metal distribution company expanding current locations as well as expanding into new territories. This Junior role is supported by inside sales and operations resources, allowing us to move quickly, win market share, and develop talent from the ground up. Our customers include OEMs, fabricators, machine shops, and contractors who rely on us for consistent supply, competitive pricing, and responsive service.

The Junior Inside Sales Representative will be a core member of the inside sales team, working closely with Sales Representatives to develop new accounts, grow existing customers, and execute day-to-day sales activity. This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to real accounts, real revenue responsibility, and a clear development path into a full Inside Sales or Outside Sales role.

Requirements

Jr. Inside Sales Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Representatives in managing and growing a defined book of business
  • Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotes for assigned pod accounts
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently through the ERP system
  • Communicate daily with customers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and deliveries
  • Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to meet pod service levels
  • Participate in outbound call campaigns and account development efforts within the pod
  • Track customer activity, opportunities, and follow-ups in CRM
  • Learn metal products, grades, applications, and market pricing trends
  • Contribute ideas to improve pod performance, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Gradual ownership of accounts and responsibilities as performance increases

Minimum Requirements/Required Skills

  • Must be able to work full-time, on-site in La Mirada, CA (M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or industry experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone and via email
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Ability to learn technical product information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); ERP/CRM experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a sales career
